With our payroll API, white-label components, and internal tools you’ll have everything you need to successfully launch a market-competitive, e2e payroll product quickly and affordably.

We came across this problem when we operated a gig company with 1000+ workers and ran into major compliance problems that forced us to classify everyone as W2 employees. There was no product on the market that allowed us to seamlessly (and programmatically) run W2 payroll at scale.

That's how we were introduced to the world of payroll infra. We started off with launching a Payroll API and then expanded to an entire suite of payroll infra tools. Today, we are the underlying payroll infrastructure for all types of platforms.

- Gig platforms use Puzzl to pay their W2 workforce daily and keep payments on their own app (i.e. Bellhops, Wonolo).

- Vertical SaaS platforms use Puzzl to customize a payroll product catered to customers in their vertical (i.e. Toast, Service Titan).

- Fintech platforms use Puzzl to add W2 payroll to their suite of financial offerings (i.e. Venmo).

Building payroll can sometimes be intimidating. This is why we decided that, although we're an API-first company, we would also prioritize building out-of-the-box white label components (e.g. employer dashboard, employee dashboards, web+mobile onboarding flows, etc.). By using a combination of our components and the API, building your own payroll product went from taking weeks to taking just a few hours.
